Talking Rubbish!

A 'Schools Against Waste' virtual visit.

On Thursday 19th the whole school joined together for a virtual visit from Beth Coleman of Carymore Environmental Trust.

Carymoor Environmental Trust is an environmental education and nature conservation charity, that normally (!) provides inspirational outdoor learning for schools and community groups. Due to COVID-19 these visit can not currently take place so we were delighted to be able to welcome Beth for a virtual visit.

The morning started with the whole school logging in for a joint assembly all about rubbish, recycling and the environment. After this Acorns had their own Eco Pirates 3R's session with Beth and then after breaktime Oaks & Owls had a Fantastic Plastic workshop.

There was lots of laughter, joining in, actions and activities as well as the environmental lessons!

Thank you Beth & Carymore Environmental Trust for a fabulous, inspiring and informative morning!
