Owl class have made willow stars for the church.
As part of the preparation process, the local, Somerset willow was soaked, dried and mellowed so that it would be supple enough to manipulate into starry shapes.
Once ready, the children enjoyed creating stars of varying sizes before using water-proof tissue paper to cover them. This all required a lot of patience and Topaz Power.
Oak Class and Acorn Class will be joining in tomorrow.
Stars for the church by stars of the school!
Thank you to Mr Simon Francis who invited pupils from Stoke St Michael to create some seasonal stars to hang from hooks in the church.
