Year 5 Whitstone Dance Festival
This week our federation Year 5's went to Whitstone School for a Dance workshop that ended in a performance on the main stage for parents and carers. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and developed confidence, team skills, improved coordination and, as they move towards their next stage of education, a really positive introduction to a secondary school environment. Students taking dance at Whitstone ran the sessions and acted as great mentors and role models to our pupils. Many thanks to the teachers and students at Whitstone for providing a valuable and fun collective experience for our pupils.
