Music in Acorns
This term in music Acorns are looking at the story of The Hungry Caterpillar!
Acorns children are learning a new song called 'Tiny Caterpillar on a leaf' to the tune of 'If you're happy and you know it' and they are all having great fun choosing appropriate actions for our song: greedy caterpillars, cosy cocoons and busy butterflies!
This week Acorns have been learning about rhythm by copying their teacher and then creating their own rhythms using their instruments. They have explored dynamics and how different instruments can be used for the verses in their song.
