Linking International Women's Day with WWII

Owls class linked Science Week and International Women's Day with their WWII topic.

During Science week, on International Women's Day, Owls class thought about the focus of 'Innovation' and did some research about a famous female inventor. Hedy Lamarr was very popular in the Second World War years but, incredibly, not for her ingenious inventions. 

Why was Hedy Lamarr so famous and popular? Owl Class wrote biographies to explain their findings.

What a great way to celebrate International Women's Day! Well done, Owl class.
