Anglo-Saxon Treasure

Oaks and Owl class teaming up together to learn and create Anglo-Saxon treasure!

Oak and Owl Class have joined together to find out about Anglo-Saxon treasure. They have looked at examples of ancient buckles and brooches before creating their own designs and then making some.

Year 3 and 4 have used string and cardboard to recreate some intricate patterns on their jewellery. Meanwhile, Owl Class have used clay to represent their designs. Both activities required a lot of skilful focus.

Once the artworks are dry, all children will move onto painting and decorating them.

Remember to return to the 'Latest News' page to see photographs of the finished crafts after half term!
