Visit to Nunney Castle
Kings, Queens, Princesses, Knights and Dragons assembled to visit Nunney Castle today!
The children tested their knowledge as they explored the castle and identified its features, before playing a few games of 'dragon tail chase' and a dragon egg hunt.
After lunch, the children worked in teams to build cardboard forts that needed to withhold an enemy attack! We then put them to the test in a battle using footballs like a game of medieval dodgeball.
We can safely say, after the children were finished, the castles did not withstand the battle!
What a fantastic way to end our 'Castles and Dragons' theme!
