What could The Three Little Pigs wear?
Acorns ask scientific questions about materials.
At the end of last term, Acorns did some scientific investigations about what could The Three Little Pigs wear?
The pupils have been finding out by looking at fabrics and asking questions about the suitability of clothing. What fabric could pigs have for a coat? A hat? Shorts?
The class came up with some great ideas, considering waterproof and warm fabrics for a coat and soft fabrics for a top. We even had suitable fabric chosen for a cushion. Reception looked at the patterns and texture, being creative with materials.
