Rural Life Museum Trip
Chesnuts class trip to the Rural Life Mueseum!
Children in Chesnuts class had a lovely day learning about the rich Anglo-Saxon history of Wessex!
They re-enacted the Anglo-Saxons fighting against the Vikings, painted their own copy of 'King Alfred's Jewel' and even created their own runes with a letter from the Anglo-Saxon alphabet.
They all thoroughly enjoyed this trip!
