Let Your Light Shine Federation Song

On Monday 17th January, professional singer song writer Jane Taylor (http://janetaylor.co.uk/music) led a song writing workshop with the whole school. She introduced the children to the main elements of song writing: tune, hook, chorus, verse and lyrics and drew ideas from the children for a new Federation song. 

Jane will return in the near future to record the song based on her collaborative work with the children across the Federation, it will have the theme of 'Let Your Light Shine' at its heart. We hope to have copies of the recording available to purchase in the spring.  

The finished song will be a wonderful and joyful way to mark our emergence from such a tough and prolonged period with every child in the Federation contributing their voice. We will keep you updated but, in the meantime, remember to 'Let your light shine.'
