Lest we forget!
Remembrance Day Activities
This week we have been remembering all those who have died in conflicts around the world.
Conkers made remembrance ribbons and reflected on the sacrifices made by the armed forces in protecting our democracy and freedom, and of the suffering that so many civilians experience when caught up in conflicts.
Acorns have also produced some beautiful poppies as part of their Remembrance activities, as well as walking to the War Memorial to look at all the beautiful knitted poppies made by people from the village.
Today, the whole school gathered outside for a 2 minute silence at 11am. We are very proud of all the children for their thoughtful and respectful behaviour and attitudes.
