Keeping Cool with Science
Conkers experiment with ice.
Conkers' unit of work for science this term is properties and changes of materials. This week they designed an experiment to see which material is the best insulator. During our beautiful, sunny weather the class wrapped 4 containers of ice cubes with newspaper, bubble wrap, fabric and foil. They then times which kept the ice cubes frozen for the longest. They discovered that the fabric was the best insulator.
