On Wednesday 25th May 2016, Conkers class had the chance to see a working dairy farm in action when they visited Mead Farm in Latcham near Wedmore.  This was a fantastic opportunity to see how our dairy foods are produced from the milking of the cows in the parlour to the production of butter, ice cream and cheese.  The children were able to get up close to the cows and get muddy in the fields – it was a fantastic morning and we are very grateful to the Diocese for funding this event.  Thanks also to Ms. Truan for helping on this trip.
