Lily's Shaduf
Lily builds working model!
Lily has created a working model of an Egyptian shaduf which was the method used by Ancient Egyptians to lift water out of the river Nile and onto the land to water their crops.
It would have been much bigger than Lily’s model of course! They would have needed a lot of water in Egypt’s very hot climate.
