Fantastic time at Bristol Aquarium March 2020

A great time was had by all on our school trip to Bristol Aquarium. Have  a look at the photos in the main section.

On Tuesday 3rd March 29 children attending Acorns Class and helpers boarded a Smiths Coach to go to Bristol Aquarium and it was fantastic. The children were fascinated and inquisitive with all the exhibits and displays.  In  the middle of Bristol Aquarium is an enormous Coral Seas display. This display  is themed on a warm water coral reef  and in it live  over 250 marine animals. The children  listened attentively to the talk about the  coral seas and  saw a pufferfish  among the eels and soldier fish.

We all watched the sting rays being  fed in an open topped display  and even found Nemo and Dory in smaller tanks. There was a huge octopus and in the learning labs we saw the nursery with tiny sea horses.

We saw turtles and even a poisonous tree frog.  Great memories that will last a lifetime. Oh,  and we all loved our packed lunch too!
